    Hi I have, as you said above, Shark and FLV files still refuse to work on Windows 8 with VLC player and Windows Media Player.

    Hello I said, as mentioned above, Shark and FLV files still don’t work in Windows 8 with VLC player and Windows Media Player.

    If the file doesn’t work in VLC, it is almost 100% sure that there is no way to play the file.

    Any file that VLC can play. With my software installed, WMP can read them as well.
